Kedareswara Vratha Puja – Description

Kedareswara Vratha Puja is a sacred ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, symbolizing the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in the form of Ardhanareeshwara, which represents the equality of masculine and feminine energies.

According to tradition, Goddess Parvati performed this vratha with deep devotion to unite with Lord Shiva. Devotees observe fasting on this day and worship Lord Kedareswara with full श्रद्धा (devotion). As part of the ritual, it is customary to offer food to a Brahmin after completing the puja.
